Last updated: May 25, 2026

DesignForge ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website designforge.fyi (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information:

Automatically Collected Data: When you visit the Site, our web servers and third-party services automatically record standard log information. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time and date of your visit, and time spent on each page. This data is collected in aggregate form and is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Voluntarily Provided Data: If you use our Contact Us form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and a message. This information is stored securely in our cloud infrastructure and is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, trade, or share this information with any third party. The text and names you enter into our 3D generators (such as nameplate names, keychain text, or pet tag inscriptions) are processed anonymously and in real time. These inputs are not permanently stored on our servers after the 3D model file has been generated and delivered to you.

2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. We use cookies for the following purposes:

You can manage your cookie preferences using the cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit. You may also configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time, though this may affect certain functionalities of the Site.

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visits to this Site and other websites on the internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ads Settings page. For more information about how Google uses your data, please review Google's Privacy & Terms.

Some third-party advertising companies may also use web beacons and similar technologies to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize advertising content. We do not have access to or control over cookies or tracking technologies used by third-party advertisers.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Site; to respond to your contact form inquiries; to analyze usage trends and monitor the effectiveness of our content; and to display relevant third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. We do not use your information for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to allow us to respond and follow up on inquiries. Server log files are retained for up to 90 days for security and performance monitoring purposes. Generated 3D model files (STL and 3MF) are temporarily stored for up to 24 hours to facilitate download, after which they are automatically deleted from our servers.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided on our Contact Us page. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmissions to and from the Site are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS/SSL). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Links to External Websites

The Site may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

11. Contact Us
